CALANGUTE - Known for his work in the investment and insurance sector, Prasad Arjun Shirodkar has built a reputation over the years for being approachable, solution-oriented and committed to helping people plan for a better future.

He is the son of late Arjun Appa Shirodkar, popularly known as Babu in Calangute, a respected and down-to-earth social worker who was always close to the people and known for his selfless service to the community. Inspired by his father’s values and commitment to public service, Prasad is now bringing the same people-first approach to politics and takes a more active role in public service, as he strengthens his involvement with the Indian National Congress.

A resident of Calangute and a Village Panchayat ward member, Shirodkar’s journey from financial advisory to politics reflects his long-standing desire to contribute more directly to the community that he calls home.
